PLAY FESTIVAL REMINDERS

Playwriting Awards please go to the National Web Site: www.kcactf.org. THE TEN MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL Student
playwrights are invited to submit plays ranging in length
from 4-10 minutes. There is no restriction on subject
matter, style, or intended audience. Six scripts will be
selected by a panel of readers from outside our region. Students
need to send four copies of each script. On one
copy only, have the title, your name, address, phone
numbers, email address and school name. On the other
three copies just have the title of the play. Make
certain that your name or the school name does not appear
on any of the other pages. (For the selection process the
NPP Regional Chair retains the single script with your
contact information on it. All other scripts are assigned
numbers and referred to by that number – as
‘blind copies’) You
must be able to attend the Region VII Festival: February
16-20, 2009, in Moscow, hosted by the University of
Idaho. If
your script is selected by our readers and invited to the
regional festival you must also be ready to send a copy
by email in the standard format ( Samuel French –
See Regional Guidelines) and preferably using Microsoft
Word. All
Scripts must be postmarked by November 1, 2008 and mailed

This year we will be also be ably assisted by our highly experienced former Regional Chair, David Lee-Painter, in a new role as our regional NPP Vice-Chair. We look forward to David’s input and enthusiastic presence at our forthcoming festival in Idaho.
